Tasmanian Snow Gum Seeds
HOW TO GROW EUCALYPTUS:
Step 1
Sow the seeds onto surface of seed raising mix. Use either a seed tray or small pot. Lightly cover and moisten with a light spray. Leave in a light position out of direct sunlight.
Step 2
Loves cold conditions and can withstand cold frosts and snow. Seeds should germinate after 3-4 weeks.
Step 3
Once sprouted, move tray/pot to sunny position. Transplant seedlings when roughly 20cm. A medium pot is ok, but can also go into ground. As it is fast growing, a support is recommended. Use a bamboo or wooden stake.
Step 4
Transplant to final position when 50cm high. Once established, will survive extreme cold and is also drought tolerant. Eucalyptus takes between 7-10 years to fully mature.
