It's crucial to keep the mixture consistently damp but not waterlogged during this stratification period. Check periodically to ensure no mold develops; if it does, air out the seeds and refresh the medium.

 
Once the cold stratification period is complete, sow the seeds about 1-2 cm deep in well-draining potting mix or directly into prepared garden soil in a sunny to partially shaded location. Maintain consistent moisture, ensuring the soil remains damp but not saturated. Germination can be variable and may take several weeks after planting.
