HOW TO GROW INDIAN GINSENG :
Step 1
Sow the seeds indoors in small pots of garden soil. Leave in a warm, sunny location. Indoor if during winter.
Step 2
Keep soil temperature warm and moist. Use a greenhouse or window sill. Seeds should germinate after 2-3 weeks.
Step 3
Transplant seedlings into the ground once leaves have developed. Choose a sunny or part-shade location.
Step 4
Will not require much watering once plant has become established. Indian Ginseng is commonly grown as an annual and takes 180-200 days to fully mature.

Width: up to 50 centimetres (2 feet)
A typical harvest yields up to 400kg of dried Indian Ginseng root per 1 hectare of land.
Indian Ginseng is also called Ashwagandha when used in traditional medicine and is also known as the Winter Cherry.The roots of Indian Ginseng have been widely cultivated for its medicinal properties, health and immunity and in alleviating stress or tiredness.
