Punica granatum 'Nana' (Dwarf Pomegranate) - A dwarf shrub form of the deciduous pomegranate that typically only grows to 3 feet tall, though older plants are noted to 4 feet tall, and produces dark orange-red flowers in abundance during the summer, followed by small red fruits that are ornamental but not edible. Plant in full sun to light shade (sun best) with occasional to little irrigation. It is nearly evergreen in mild climates and tolerates alkaline conditions, wind, heat and frost.

Makes a great small hedge that can be sheared or use as a small speciman or container plant.
