Organic Rosella Seeds
 
HOW TO GROW ROSELLA:

Step 1
Sow the seeds directly into their final position.  Begin in spring when soil begins to warm up.
 
Step 2
Keep moist but don’t overwater.  Seeds should germinate after 1-2 weeks.
 
Step 3
In warm weather Roselle will grow quickly.  Keep well-watered and in full sun.
 
Step 4
Additional water advised when fruiting.  Harvest 3-4 weeks after flowering.  Rosella can take 4-6 months to harvest.

Width: up to 1 metre
 
Roselle has been shown to reduce the absorption of alcohol and has been a hangover remedy in Guatemala for years.
Roselle is native to India and Malaysia, and soon after was cultivated in parts of Africa.
In much of the Caribbean a popular cold drink, called ‘Agua de Jamaica’ or Water of Jamaica, involves Roselle sepals being soaked into icy water.
