HOW TO GROW AMARANTHUS :

Step 1
Sow directly into ground or small pots. Cover lightly and leave moist in a bright sunny location. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost.
Step 2
Don’t allow the soil to dry out. Seeds should germinate after 1 week.
Step 3
Space seedlings roughly one foot apart. Don’t overwater during transplanting. 
Step 4
Final position should be full sun. Prince’s feather takes roughly 150 days to flower.

In Africa, it is usually cooked as a leafy vegetable.
