Growing Frangipani from Seed: A Quick Guide
Growing frangipani, or Plumeria, from seed is a simple way to get a new plant, possibly a unique hybrid. Start by planting the seeds in a well-draining mix, like sand and potting soil. Position the seeds with the "wing" part sticking out of the soil and the plump end pushed down.
Keep the soil moist but not wet to prevent rot. Place the pot in a warm spot, ideally above 18°C, and out of direct, intense sunlight. Germination can take anywhere from a week to a few weeks. Once the seedling has a few true leaves, you can move it to a larger pot to continue its growth into a beautiful tree.
Planting your Plumeria/Frangipani from seeds is one of the most exciting and fun things to do.
