HOW TO GROW CLARY SAGE :

Step 1
Sow seeds 2-3mm deep into pots or straight into the garden 6 weeks prior to the last frost or in Spring. Choose a location with full sun but will cope with partial shade. Space seed in garden 2 feet (60cm) apart and moisten.
Step 2
Keep moist during entire germination process but not wet. Don’t allow the soil to dry out completely. Ideal germination temperature is 18-20°C/66-70°F Seeds should germinate after 2-4 weeks.
 
Height: up to 0.9-1.2 metres (3-4 feet)
Width: up to 50-70 cm (1.5-2.5 feet)
 
Clary sage leaves can be used to make tea, and in salads. The oil is also used in liqueurs and wines, soaps and perfumes.
Clary Sage has been used since the Ancient Greeks as a medicinal herb.
As an essential oil Clary Sage is used to treat Insomnia, PMS and menopause, depression and anxiety, Parkinson's, seizures, low milk supply in nursing mothers and much more!
