Black Elderberry Tree Seeds Organic
HOW TO GROW ELDERBERRIES:
Step 1
Place the seeds into a plastic zip-lock with sandy-like soil. Write the date and place bag into the fridge for 3 months.
Step 2
After 3 months, sow seeds about 3mm into seed trays of sandy soil. Moisten and then move into full sun position. Seeds should germinate after 3-4 weeks.
Step 3
Once sprouted, move tray to sunny position. Transplant seedlings 2 weeks after sprouting to a small-medium pot until after first winter.
Step 4
Transplant to final position after first winter. Additional water advised when fruiting. Elderberry Trees can take between 2-3 years to begin fruiting.

The flowers and fruit are both edible. All other parts of the plant, however, contain a toxic chemical called sambunigrin.
Elderberries are perennial plants that can survive up to 100 years in the wild.
An Elderberry plant produces 12 to 15 pounds of berries each year.
